PT. In addition, I also just so happened to be early.
I'm not sure I buy it. How could a stiff back create pain 24 hours a day for more than a week? Is a "stiff back" the same as a "stiff neck"? I also would think that during my massage on Sunday the guy would have noticed a "stiff back", right? Instead, he told me that I was "stress free" and he didnt find any muscle issues. I'm thinking that my back might be stiff today, but thats because its been hurting for a week, making me do things differently and act differently, thus creating this stiffness?
Anyway, she referred me to an specialist and I made the appointment for Monday afternoon. Guess only time will tell :)

Those cupcakes look delish! What kind were they??
Hope your back is feeling better soon. If you are not confident in the diagnosis, it is always good to get a second opinion.
mmmm id like a cupcake for sure.
I think you are right--like in my case, the back pain and muscle stiffness are probably not the primary source of the pain--they are a side effect from the pained way you are carrying your weight, sleeping differently, etc. Man oh Man. I hope somebody else can help you out!
Mmm, I love cupcakes! Especially when made by someone else.
It seems as though the back pain could be the result of many factors: perhaps lugging the kid around (do you have a "hippie chick"? they help keep you from throwing your hip to the side and throwing off the alignment of your spine), could be from running, could be from other muscle group weakness.
I'm no dr, but I'm sure some rest, some stretching, and some ibuprofren wil help right everything.
Here's the link to hippy chick, if you haven't already seen it:

The hipseat is what I've seen my friends use, and they rave about it.
I hope you get more answers about your back. You know your body and if you don't think it's stiffness, it may NOT be.
Yummy looking cupcakes!!
Sarah - it was one vanilla and one chocolate. It was a new bakery and we always try the "basic" cupcakes. Unfortunately, they werent that good :(
Jess - I actually have an Ergo, and always try to carry Brooke on the front (versus the back) but that hip carrier looks pretty cool. I'm gonna try to find one locally so I can try it out!
That bakery is incredible. Equally awesome is the fudge shop across the street.
I used to live on that block ya know. :)
Cupcakes will make any pain subside.
