Watching The Grass Grow

One of the benefits of our new house is a small back-yard. (This is a special thing in the city). Unfortunately, our precious dog has killer pee. She so much looks at the grass and thinks about peeing and she burns holes in our precious lawn. Here is a picture of her proudly sitting in the midst of some of her "artwork".

Note: we have more grass to the right of this...this area is just Wrigleys favorite spot to relieve herself :)

A few days ago I planted some grass seed, and have had lots of rain since then. Every day I check and there is no grass. But this morning I bent very low and saw a few pieces. Finally! I went and ran some errands and when I got home about 4 hours later there was a lot more than when I left a bit before. So I eagerly wait and watch my grass grow so I can see a pretty lawn again ... and Wrigley eagerly watches the baby grass hoping that it gets nice enough for her to kill again.

I can't vouch for it, but worth a shot.

I am absolutely going to try this! I wonder how soon I have to do it? She literally kills it ... its like hay. I prob have to pour beer on it when it looks rough, not dead :)
I am putting some beer on my shopping list as I type!
