What A Difference A Week Makes

Last week, on this day (Thursday), we hit a record high of 82 degrees. I had to turn on my air conditioning because Brooke's room got too hot for her nap.

Today? On my way driving to the coffee shop to "work" (blog) my car read 40 degrees. This morning the house was freezing and I turned THE HEAT ON. Seriously.

Maybe I should delay my running return until the weather can figure itself out. I'm so good at finding excuses ... arent I?

On a work-related note, I'm supposed to do about 5 interviews. I have 1 done and as of this morning had two more scheduled. I got another TWO responses today! I scheduled one and am in the process of scheduling the other. That means that by the end of next week I will have my interviews done. That is both good and bad. I'll have made another small notch in the dissertation, but need to analyze all the interviews and make another meeting with my advisor to give the report. Then, I'll have another task to do ... likely much bigger and more time consuming that some little exploratory interviews.

I am with you on this one.. the weather here will be in the 70s or 80s then cold and pouring down rain! The weather must figure itself out so I can plan accordingly.

Spring is like that in the mid-west: It's a tease!

I've learnt to ignore the weather or I'd never run. I used to say that there was a special rule for people who wore glasses - they didn't have to run in the rain. These days I just pull on a cap and wear my oldest shoes.

Yup! We are the same! I use to live in AZ and the weather was always nice..now I am in the midwest and I love it! I love the fact that you have to appreciate and embrace nice days...because it WILL change!
