A Morning Run

Brooke woke up nice and early this morning (as usual), and together the early wake-up call and the threats of severe storms all weekend pushed me to get out and do my run. It actually felt great to do it first thing (well, first thing after all of her needs were attended to). I havent been out for an early run in forever, and definitely prefer it over having to wait until late at night after she is in bed.

Training Log
Time:~32 min   Distance:2.95 mi   Pace:~10:50
Again I had some trouble with RunKeeper. The ap doesnt work when the iPhone is set to seek out wi-fi (it interferes with the GPS or something) and I keep forgetting to turn it off. I forgot again, so the attempts to connect with local wi-fi's screwed up both the time and distance of my run. So I guestimated the time and took the distance from Favorite Run.

I honestly felt pretty great the whole run, and would like to thank Britney, Kanye, and Justin for providing the soundtrack to my excursion. Special tribute to Jessie who's Leavin came on right about mile 1 and put a little spring in my step and smile on my face.

Sounds like you had a great run! I am hoping to get on in outside tomorrow..as long as there is a break in the rain. :)

I rarely use all the gadgets that I have as it often takes the joy out of the freedom of running...one less thing to worry about. It is nice to get out early as it jumpstarts the day.

Ahhh... I love when a great song comes on at just the right time when I'm running! I'm glad you were able to get out.
