In a recent interview, it was revealed that Senator Obama has promised his kids a dog after the election. In response, the American Kennel Club sent a list of possible pure breeds the family could get from a pet store or breeded. Best Friends Animal Society has decided to do something different, proposing that the family get their dog from a shelter or rescue group.
