While this is meant to be funny, there is a serious point behind the commentary. For those not aware, double-amputee sprinter Oscar Pistorius was recently disqualified from the Olympics when a committee found that his prostethic limbs actually gave him an advantage over other runners. Currently appealing this finding, the world awaits to see what type of impact this will ultimately have. Oscar is obviously not the only amputee in the running field...here some info on a few others:
