The folks in Chicago must have done something to tick off Mother Nature, cuz she is waging a war on our fingers, faces and toes :( It was in the 50's yesterday, and right now its 10 BELOW with the windchill. According to Tom Skilling (WGN-Channel 9 meteorologist) "a comparable two-day temperature plunge of 50 degrees has occurred only twice in the area in the past 25 years". Lucky us.I am blogging this from my classroom - my class is due to start in 6 minutes. Out of 50 students, right now I have about 15 in the class. I am honestly suprised to have that much - I can guarantee if the roles were reversed you would not see my butt in a schooldesk today!

Maybe Mother Nature is still angry at how race organizers handled the marathon :)
I think she got angry BEFORE the marathon, which is why the weather was like it was. Now I just have to figure out the root of the problem and then find a cure ... and I can save the city from impending doom!
