After my Saturday run I felt pretty good ... and had a usual day to follow with an early-to-bed evening. I woke up early on Sunday and was busy the whole day with a Cubs game and a trip to the suburbs. Last night I got to bed a bit later than expected and had to wake up early to take the car into the dealer.
Well - today I am exhausted. My knees are still sore, both of them on the outer-side and under-side of the knee. My eyes cant stay open. I also have a bit of a headache :( I think I just need to eat a bit healthier and get a good nights rest, but I have a feeling that my 20 minute run will be postponed until later in the week and today is gonna become a rest day! Its not even 5pm, and I seriously could go to bed right now. I have been pondering a nap, but since I generally dont sleep well at nights napping is not something that I like to do.
I am working on some of my research for two projects I am in the middle of - and those are also probably part of the reason I am so sleepy. Unfortunatly, my research is not the sit-on-the-edge-of-your-seat kind of research ... its the kind that makes you a bit drowsy :)
I have been thinking of hitting the Taste of Chicago one of these days because I havent been in quite a few years. But then I think, do I really want to put up with this????
Maybe if I go on Tuesday and fight with the crowds for 45 minutes it will count as CrossTraining. But...does CrossTraining count when you stop every 10 minutes and eat some sort of fried mystery object? I think probably not :(

I went to the Taste this morning when it opened at 11 and it was pretty empty. I would recommend that if it fits in your schedule.
