Contemplating a Comeback

I havent run since the Shamrock Shuffle, a couple of weeks ago now. There really isnt a reason. I have been busy and a little stressed with the school/life combo ... but my life is still not overly complicated. Brooke is a bundle of energy, and (on top of that) has been waking up earlier and taking shorter naps. Still, I dont think its much reason. I guess I just needed a rest.

My weekend running partner is busy this weekend (which gives me another reason to stall) but is hoping that we go for a run the weekend after. Since we generally shoot for 5 or so miles, I'm gonna have to run between now and then so that I dont keel over attempting 5. Therefore, I am getting ready for my return to running. I plan to get in 3 over the weekend, shoot for one or two runs during the week next week, and then attempt 5 or so the following weekend.

I cant guarantee the plan will work. I'm just not into it right now. But, with a lovely (nagging) friend to do my weekend runs with its hard to pass up the opportunity (read: get out of having to run with her).

Today is Wednesday, a couple more days and I'll lace those shoes up again.

Sometimes a break is needed! Good luck getting back into it and enjoy a few more days of the running break.

You can do it. One foot at a time, breath in - breath out, your running now.

Everyone needs a break now and then! And you may as well procrastinate for as long as you can!

Best of luck with the comeback!
