There are articles left and right about the importance of tapering, and how many runners resist tapering before their races. I certainly don't seem to be having trouble with it! After a couple days in Vegas followed by a day off for a cold and a short run in a thunderstorm ... I took another cold-day. Again I am just not feeling good (its not worse from that rain-run, thankfully) and took today as another rest. I am going to bed in a few minutes, which is the earliest I have gone to bed in weeks. I think I have a bit of general fatigue in addition to the cold and am hoping that after a good nights sleep I will wake-up ready to run ;)
I did do my Pilates class today. I know it has nothing to do with Marathon training, and you dont see results for stuff like that for 2 weeks - but at least I did something! Tomorrow is a bit less hectice than today was - and since I plan on waking up feeling awesome I am sure to get a run in. At least, thats the plan!
