Today I had almost a whole pizza at California Kitchen for lunch.  Not even a "healthier" one - the one with pepperoni AND sausage.  On top of that I had two refills of Pepsi (and the sad thing is, I dont even like Pepsi!).  When I got home I felt a bit sick to my stomach (shocker, right?).  I got both kids down for a nap at the same time and instinctively thought I should sit on the couch and rest so my stomach didnt explode.  Then, a little voice whispered in my ear:

I hopped on the treadmill and did 3.5 miles instead.  My first time over three miles since I got back to running!  YAY!  I took it slow and didnt mess around with the speed as I've done in some previous runs.  It was a pretty tough run and my energy was a bit low.  (So surprising since I fueled up so well just prior to running)
 
Anyway, now I just have to run a couple time during the week (with one of those runs being 4 miles) and I should be okay for next weeks race.  At least, by "okay" I mean I shouldnt have to visit the medic tent.

It's impressive that you did that on a full stomach! Awesome job!
Good for you for getting the 3.5 in after that! I am always surprised at what my stomach can and cannot handle!
