So I'm 21 weeks along, well into the 2nd trimester. The thing is, I feel so huge its more like the 3rd trimester. And I'm tired again like in the 1st trimester. I'm back to taking naps almost every day (there goes my "productive time"). To top that off, my daughter has been kind enough to pass along her current cold to me. So I'm huge, tired, congested and have a sore throat ;)
I can't wait for her to take her nap today, so I too can crawl into bed and take a snoozer. I'm also thinking about canceling my training session for tomorrow because of this cold. So although I'm working out very little right now, I'm thinking I should work out even less I guess. Sounds like a genius idea, right?
Lets add to the fact that this past weekend was my birthday and I was forced to have a milkshake and cupcake. There is still one cupcake left and I'll polish that baby off today. Perhaps that contributes to my feeling of hugeness, ya think?
And back to running, or, what I do best: talking about running instead of actually doing it.
My friend Beca signed up for a race on July 18th. Its actually a really fun race and tends to be very walker friendly. I'm pondering it and checking my schedule, but am a bit irked by the fact I still havent even attempted to run. There is a 5K and a 10K, and I wonder ... can I run the 5K? I havent run in months. I'd like to, but am seriously doubting my abilities right now.

awww, i bet you look adorable!!! anything BUT huge!
Happy belated birthday!
If the run is walker friendly, why not just walk it? :)
First of all, happy belated b-day! Secondly, I'm sure you're not as huge as you think you are; in fact, I bet you look just cute.
Happy Belated Birthday and a Belated Congratulations!!!
Happy belated birthday! This summer cold crap that is going around is the worst! Hope you feel better soon. If you are talking about the fleet feet women's run I may be doing that with my friend.
