Its the end of day one of our conference. I managed to stay awake ... but I think it was due to the fact that I took a "break" for about 1 1/2 hours and went to a close Starbucks to work on our presentation for tomorrow. We are 99.5% done, and after seeing some of the other presentations we dont feel very concerned about how we will do.
Workout - Or Lack Thereof
I havent really had a minute to spare since Monday - at least I did a 25 minute run. But I should have done cross-training yesterday and a few miles today. We just got done with the conference, and I have a dinner at 6:30 that will go until about 9. In addition, my sister is going to try to hang out in this area and meet me up later. So, in effect, the training is not looking too good. My biggest concern is going to do my 16-miler on Saturday after a week of rest...and that week of rest including coffee, pastries and beer. I am suddenly thinking that I am in big trouble :(
