I am back in the hotel after a "relaxing" evening. We had dinner at a place called Raku in the Dupont Circle area and then hit a bar or two (or three) after that. We got home fairly early (1am) and I am pretty much packed and ready to head home. Its been a long week, but I had a great time with my sister and her friends, and my "school friends" and fellow conference attendees.
I am definitely ready to head home, and cant help but think about my upcoming run. I am pretty sure that I have gained weight from all the eating and drinking, and the alcohol consumption cant be helping too much. So I need to get myself physically and mentally into the game and get back on track - so that I dont suffer on Saturday any more than is already destined to happen!
Flight is fairly early tomorrow and I need to get to bed! Hopefully I can sleep a bit on the plane and start getting back into my normal schedule as soon as possible. Stay tuned for how this whole thing pans out...
