Due to the fact that I am leaving for DC, and have plans tonight, I am doing my 90 minute run today! Patti, another TNT runner who has Friday's off ... also came into some scheduling conflicts and agreed with me that "getting it out of the way" would be best.

Today is totally muggy - and since we both dont have work, we wanted to sleep in a bit (plus we both drank a few beers at the OAR concert last night, so a 7 am run wasnt gonna happen). We decided to meet at 10AM - nice to sleep in, but it may have caused some suffering in the weather. Throughout the run we were pacing really well - a bit faster than normal but still totally comfortable. Then at the end I started getting a cramp in my shoulder/neck area. This forced me to walk a bit here and there, slowing down our overall pace. Still, it was a really good run - and by getting it out of the way Patti and I could find the time and ability to celebrate a bit over the weekend...something that can be a bit tough when you have a 7 am run on Sat mornings ;)
